SLO Artist's Coalition's first compilation album "For Black Lives" is an effort by 12 SLO County music groups to raise money for R.A.C.E. Matters SLO and Tiana Arata/Elias Bautista's legal defense funds. The album is a Bandcamp exclusive release to encourage donations for downloads over Spotify streams that only accumulate fractions of a cent per full listen. Consider a donation of $10 as standard, however feel free to go above and beyond! These people and organization need your support. Thank you to all musicians who contributed to the first of many projects like this. As far as we know, there is no other community organization centralizing around activism art, so if you would like to get involved, or have any ideas/information for us, reach out!
